A friend surprised me with these gorgeous flowers over the weekend! And then when I came downstairs this morning, I spotted that delicate little drop of water clinging to the edge of the petal and had to grab a picture. It was such an unexpected but delightful gift to receive, thank you LB!!!

Dr. B and I have been making a pilgrimage an hour northward to eat at our favorite fish shack. For my birthday dinner, Dr. B recreated the dish at home, and it was revelatory.
