Last week was an embarrassment of riches in terms of tasty eats! Thanksgiving combined with Dr. B’s birthday led to three days of delicious gluttony. Our pod celebrated with a raft of dishes: a smoked turkey; sausage and herb dressing; mashed potatoes and gravy; roasted acorn squash; a crusty loaf of cranberry, walnut, and coconut bread; and homemade pumpkin pie with ginger cookie crust. I made pear cider cocktails that were NOT tasty, unfortunately, but everything else was top notch! The next day: turkey hash, and smoked turkey and bean soup.
