We’ve been working on our deep-dish pizza game. The quest is feeling very much like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The first version — toppings and crust were delicious, but the bottom was soggy. Second version, got the bottom crispy (added cornmeal and continued cooking on the stove top for a bit) but the top burned and Min declared there was too much cheese and the crust was too thick LOL. So here’s to hoping version three turns out to be juuussstttt right! Next time around, we’ll try a different meltier cheese, reduce the amount of dough, but keep the cornmeal bottom. To be continued…
